About me:
--------
My name is Henrik Nykvist and I'm a 19 year old university student from Halmstad, Sweden.
I started producing music in a relatively small scale back in late 2004, when my good friend Johan "Piecemaker" Herzelius introduced me to the all new FLStudio 4.
I instantly grew a great interest for music production since what I was using back then was "Dance Ejay" and all the other Ejay products - which was not very satisfactory since you can't really make your "own" songs with premade samples.
Since then it's just been an upwards spiral for my music production - I really feel I've gotten somewhere now.
For now I really want to see how far my little song might get in a real competition.

 Midi keyboard for melody making

A little about how I create my music:
------------------------------------
I usually start by playing randomly trying to find a sweet melody on my keyboard, sometimes I do find one, sometimes I don't. When I do find a good enough melody, I start adding hihat and bassdrum. Then I usually extract the bassline notes from the main melody to give a sample of what the finished song could sound like.
After that it's very different from song to song, since I don't want my songs to be monotonous.
I just keep adding stuff, testing if it works, and replacing if it doesn't.
